Unless you are fluent in Bulgarian you should have every document relating to your purchase of Bulgarian property checked over by a bilingual expert in Bulgarian property law. Bulgarian is not a language based on the Latin alphabet and so it is even more complicated to understand for unilingual UK buyers than a European language such as French or German.
There are specific terms which relate to Bulgarian property but to list them in the Cyrillic alphabet would simply be confusing. Although English is increasingly widely spoken in Bulgaria, employing translation services whenever necessary is recommended for anyone buying Bulgarian property.
