Montana
The region of Montana consists of the administrive divisions of Montana, Vratsa and Vidin. The capital of the region is the city of Montana and is an important administrative and industrial center. It is situated in north-western Bulgaria along the Ogosta river. It was founded in Roman times as a fortless. In 1891 is became a town. It has been bearing the name of Montana since 1991.
This region has many interesting places to fish.
